Lunch at Illuma
We went Illuma today to have lunch at this japanese street restaurant on the 4th floor. They have a few restaurants.Saw Pey pey's fb photo the nite before and it looks good so went to try today. The concept is quite nice,You order your food through a talking pen,so whatever you want you point the pen to the item and it will prompt you for quantity and enter if done press send and your order will go through.Even for waiter, you use the pen.My only problem was the pen is quite loud,so every one knows what you are ordering and it keeps repeating, abit irritating,Food is quite nice, service also quite ok.Price is quite reasonable depending on what you order.Me and Ranielle shared a mini ramen+mini kani fried rice for $14,portion quite ok.Derek's cha siew ramen about $13 and Martial's ramen+gyoza set is around $14.We also order 1 spider roll, inside has roe, soft shell crab etc..only 4 pieces for $10 or $12 a bit ex for that. But overall,it's ok and we will definately be back.
