Baking time

My mum recently got queen an oven for xmas so we tried to bake some cookies.didn't take pics of the end results though.

Starting Nursery soon..

We just receive a letter from Ranielle's school and she is in Sunshine 2!
First day of school will be an hour from 9.40am-10.40am
second day of school will be 2hour from 8.40am-10.40am
Both days are orientation and i will have to accompany her.
Next yr onwards,She will be taking the school bus which is much more convenient for me especially on rainy days and it's so difficult to get a cab from school.I can just cross my fingers and hope she can adjust well and fast.As she will be in the morning session,she won't be seeing much of her classmates from this year unless they are in the same enrichment classes and for this,i do feel sad for her but making new friends shouldn't be a problem to her.Let's just hope that she will be able to ease into nursery well and happyily as there will be many changes for her.

Last day of school

Today is the last day of school for Queen.It is truly amazing at how much and fast she has grown.From crying non-stop at the beginning of the year to enjoying her time with her classmates and teachers.As next year, she will be in the morning session for nursey,i do feel alittle sad as she won't be able to see her fellow classmates,but for her,making new friends shouldn't be a problem :)
Oh how much she has grown,so many different changes in the way she thinks,speaks and behave.It is utterly facsinating but at the same time scary.She is her own entity with a unique and wonderful personality and i thank God each day for giving her to me.

Ranielle the ballerina

Ranielle has been asking for ballet lessons so last sunday we brought her for a trial at dance pointe.It's quite interesting,the teacher Miss Lum uses different theme each week for eg: beach,toy shop.She will ask them what do you bring,see or do etc..Quite interactive.Hopefuly Ranielle will enjoy every lesson.These are photos of Ranielle in her uniform.Ain't she adorable!

Ranielle has been milk bottle free for the past 2 weeks.I manage to get her to chose a lovely tumbler for her milk..Initially,it was a bit tough for her but now all better.

Derek brought Ranielle out on his own today,so proud of him!!They went to Plaza singapura for dinner and to look for toys.He told me they had a good time and even Queen said daddy's a champion!

Disney zippity

After looking through reviews on the zippity,we went to get it on sunday.Set it up together and it's really quite impressive.You use the floor mat or the huge joy stick to answer the questions.It comes with 8 gmes 2 levels each featuring hanny manny,winne the pooh,little enisteins and mickey clubhouse.The graphics are similar to the tv programmes so it's quite good.Best of all,it teaches numbers,letters,colours and more.And Queen really enjoys it.

i got this ballerina dress up set from spotlight.Ain't she lovely!!Queen has been wanting to go for ballet lessons but still unable to find a school with the ideal timing :(

Queen's stick Family

When i woke up this morning,i saw this drawing on the Easel so i ask our helper whether did she help Ranielle draw the stick Family.To my astonishment,she said that Ranielle drew it on her own and told her this is daddy and mummy holding her hands.OMG ....I'm so proud of her!!!

Queen had her ears pierced!

We brought queen to bdazzled at wisma to pierce her ears today.She took a while to choose her earrings and settled on an 18k white gold with a pink sapphire gem.After which the nice ladies mark the spot on her ears with a pen and sprayed something on her ears to numb it.And then they pierce her ears using the catriadges at the same time.I was prepared for her to scream but she just looked shocked and after awhile when she looked in the mirror,she gave a big smile and said "it's pink" and she went about jumping around.what a brave girl!So next week,we'll have to go back and let them check her ears and after that in a months time.It is more expensive then most places but i would say it's worth it and they are really good with children.

club med phuket 12-16 may 2010

Just came back from our trip.It is a totally different experience from club med bintan.Phuket's kid's club is truly impressive,it's a village in a village.The petit club playrooms are huge and also an naprooms.Lots of toys and ride ons also there is 2 pools one is 0.3m the other 0.5m.If you have little ones under 23 mths,they have the baby club which is fully equipped.They have activtys planned the whole day from swimming to nature walks,beach play,craft work.Basically it's like a childcare but more fun.We left Queen there for few hours each day and she's so happily playing and having fun with the other kids and the GOs.Food wise,bintan better.For beach,bintan is exclusive..Phuket is shared but they have a bigger portion.Bintan,no shopping.Phuket,yes.Once you walk out of the resort,there are massage services and shops that sell pretty much the same things,lots of small pubs and also restaurants and even a starbucks.We also took transport out to patong beach and phuket town for the night market.Transport is super expensive,around SG$40 for 25 mins trip 2 way.Anyway,Ranielle enjoyed her trip very much and hopes to go again.
